I've been going to Howie for my haircuts for about a year now and he usually does great fades. Today was my first time asking him to cut the top of my hair as well since I've been growing it out and I couldn't be more disappointed with how it turned out. I asked for a fade using size 1 clippers and for him to take a half inch off the top of my hair. But he ended up cutting way more than a half inch. I don't know if it's because he's not used to curly hair but I feel like all of the time I spent growing it out was wasted. I'm not sure I would recommend going if you also have curly hair. I've added before and after pics along with a tape measure for reference.

Dale and Howie are legit barbers. I get my haircut by Dale about once a month. The straight razor shave on my neck seals the deal. Great shop. Make an appointment to get your hair cut.
