I am currently a student at Stay Fresh Barber Academy, and have been enjoying the process. I started with no experience but with the proper and consistent guidance I have received, I feel a lot more comfortable. I was able to expand my services and start doing braids as well on top of the many other services we already learn because of the support and push you get from not just the instructors but the students around you. If you’re hesitant to start your barbering career I would highly suggest calling in and setting up a meeting so you can see for yourself!

I visited on Wednesday evening and inquired about available haircuts. The school has an ATM on-site for convenience, and haircuts are very affordable at just $10. It’s an excellent place to get cleaned up. It’s important to have reasonable expectations—student barbers are not charging premium rates like professional barbers who may charge $100 or more. That being said, the school was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I was highly impressed and will definitely be returning weekly.

How do I start? First I was a bit hesitant about trying this business TBH. However, they are professionals, and you get what you ask for. I didn’t get the name of my barber, but she was listening to what and how I wanted my haircut. So, if you ever want to visit this business, please do so, as they will definitely take good care of your hair, and leave you with great satisfaction! Great job! I would definitely come back soon! :)

Attending stay fresh barber school has been a great step in my journey to becoming a professional barber. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping students improve their skills. They break things down clearly, whether it’s techniques, sanitation, or client communication. The hands-on training is solid — you’re not just sitting in a classroom; you're on the floor getting real experience with real clients. I’ve definitely grown in confidence and skill since I started. Also thanks to Josue one of the instructors he’s giving me a lot of tips and knowledge about barbering, and he’s great person.
