State Beauty Supply North Alabama

This has been my favorite store to get supplies from outside of where I currently live. Always well stocked and very organized.

The front desk associates are always nice and help as much as they can, and when i call and speak to anyone in billing, they are extremely helpful. There is a good selection of products. However, nothing is priced. This started a couple years ago (prior, there were prices posted). This is extremely frustrating because we are getting supplies that we need to do our job. And it takes a very long time if you need a price check on everything. If you’re in a rush, and just grab what you need and go, you end up spending more than necessary. I asked on their FB page weeks ago (before writing this review)about prices not being posted, and had no response. I asked the associates up front a couple days ago when they would start pricing things again and was told that they purposely do not price item

Used to be a nice place to go, friendly employees who would call you by name and help you find things. Now the people who work there are rude and act like they don't want you in there. If you buy something and have a problem with it, don't bother trying to get a refund because they don't offer them even though they have a return policy on their receipt. They would rather lose someone who spends hundreds of dollars in their store than to return a $14 item that was faulty. There's no quality control anymore. They simply do not care if they sell you something that breaks or is old, or damaged in some way. Steer clear and go to Cosmoprof instead.
