I haven’t gotten my hair done in years & I was recommended Liz! This turned out to be the best choice, I left her chair feeling like a million bucks. After years of constantly wearing my hair up due to being self conscious, thanks to Liz & her talent, I now can and do wear it down ALL the time & my confidence has just skyrocketed! 10/10 will go back to see her!!

This was my first time going to this salon and I cannot stress enough how wonderful Starz is! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Laurie. A kind and gentle soul with so much talent. On top of getting a beautiful cut and natural highlights, I got an incredible salon experience. Chatting with Laurie feels like reconnecting with an old friend, even though it was our first time meeting, she treated me like family. She gave me kindness, confidence, and a moment of yearned for peace. I am so grateful for Laurie and Starz Hair Studio. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Did not shampoo nor blow dry until I asked for. The hairdresser seemed to be more focused on the conversation next to us than cutting my hair. The haircut was not great. The hairdresser did not want to blow dry my hair initially but I didn’t want to walk out with damp hair so I asked for a blow dry. It was not a professional blow dry with style she literally just blew dry my hair. I was charged the price of “haircut and style.” It was not the kind of salon service I’ve had. You can clearly see how the hairdresser cut my hair from the pics. What a joke! Worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Avoid this place at all cost.

The hairdressers were kind, but did not know how to blow dry curly hair. My hair it’s not coily, and it’s not impossible to blow dry, but from the beginning I could tell she was having some difficulty managing my hair (didn’t even have clips strong enough to hold it, which made it so it kept falling and she would just skip doing a whole strand of hair). She went in with a straightener even before my whole hair was dry, so it was sizzling. It is so hard to be upfront at the moment, especially because she was a nice person, but I just wished she would’ve told me from the beginning she didn’t know how to do curly hair.I think what made me the most upset it’s that even after she passed the straightener, my hair is STILL damp.
