Starting Five Barbershop

Fade was $35, which is only a negative because: haircut was poorly done with sections of hair not faded properly as you can see in photo, and because the whole thing took a very long time (~50 mins in the chair and an hour wait before that). I would recommend going somewhere else. To the owner's reply: I was there two days ago at 9am, chair closest to the door, but don't know the man's name. African American and he spoke a different language (he was on the phone the entire cut which may have been why it was not done well.)

The Barber is very good at Women’s Cuts and and he can give you any style and design that you want. You would definitely be please with your haircut man or woman.

I get my locs retwisted every month by Dime and my shape up by Chewy or CJ . I have never been disappointed Dime is the only person that can touch my hair and that will be until she decides to stop doing locs . It’s super comfortable and professional . I can get there at 8:30 am and she is there and ready. The prices are fair and the service is superb. This is a one stop shop that anyone with hair needs should definetly book an appointment at. I support and shout out starting five barbershop whole heartedly and If you book for the first time you will feel the same

I have been going to CJ since moving to the area a few years ago, I must say the environment of the shop is the epitome of what a local hometown barber shop should strive for. Amazing appointment system, cashless payments made easy and conversation that will last a lifetime. This shop is not only clean and welcoming it is by far the best in the area. If you haven’t tried it yet this is your sign. One last thing, all the barbers here are great so you will be in good hands.

Best barber in South Jersey in my opinion. If you want a nice fade, this is the spot. CJ is the best. Designs, color, whatever you want. Easy to schedule appointments online or drop in. 10 cuts gets you a free one. Bring a friend for $35 extra.
