I went in for party makeup and hair, and Alexa did an excellent job! I was simply blown away by my look! The makeup was done very well, and Alexa was very attentive to detail. She always asked me if something was okay before actually doing it. She also blow dried my hair, and it came out gorgeous and bouncy! I received so many compliments at my party!! I would highly recommend Alexa for hair and makeup! She will not disappoint!! Thank you so much for the awesome job, Alexa!

They need to significantly improve their scheduling and staffing. There was only one staff member handling all salon services except hair, which had a separate person. Despite having an appointment, I experienced wait times of around 20 minutes on two separate occasions. They take in walk-in waxing services without any idea of how it would impact schedule appointments and one person does both walk-in and scheduled appointment. When I asked about the delay, I was told, “It’s just a 15-minute delay, and you’re irritated,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I also observed another customer who had an appointment arrive, wait for some time, and eventually leave because the staff was occupied with me. They need better qualified estheticians for facials. I have just visited star blow salon to get my hair color done but unfortunately the person with whom I wanted to get it done was busy but a young man named Mayur offers his services bthough I was reluctant to get it done I agreed as I have no option but to my surprise Mayur did such a excellent job , his application was so perfect and neat I did not expect , he washed my hair was not only good ,neat n relaxing . I am myself an hair dresser in new York owner of my salon in Hicksville on south broadway , have visited some other salons but this boy Mayur was exceptionally good my best wishes for him as he moves forward in his life . Update: They have a new stylist Erica, and she is amazing. She understood the assignment and colored my hair exactly as I wanted. She listened first and made recommendations along the way. I felt heard and collaborated witd. And also she has amazing attitude. Loved her. 😍 Extremely rude hair colorist Alexa. But the rest of the staff is really nice.

Alexa did an excellent job with my haircut! She listened carefully to what I wanted and gave helpful suggestions. The result was exactly what I hoped for — neat, stylish, and easy to manage.
