I never leave reviews but this place is earning my first. An employee encouraged me to get 2 different colors of extensions and said that I can exchange them if one doesn’t work for store credit. I double checked because they were expensive, she said yes. As an avid returner I took her up on that since I come all the time. Essence, the manager, acknowledged that her employee made a mistake under her poor training. Then didn’t even try to make things right by giving me any credit or apology. She just basically said I’m out of luck bc her employee under made a mistake. I asked for her manager to explain the story and she let me know she is the manager and refused to give me the name of her superior. This is a scam. She’s a scam artist in every way. I was leaving and she continued to yell “n

First review I'm leaving about a place. Just left, the prices are a little high. The staff should take a course on manners though, but there are other Star Beauty locations. And I would rather do to the hair stores around the corner. Thanks I guess.

This place is completely unreliable, they would rather make their customers sob than do their job and help customers. Do not go here, there is plenty of other places to go or you're better off ordering online. If there was a 0 option I'd go below it

They only get 4 stars because they're expensive BUT they are clean and organized. I only go here for emergencies, or if I can't find what I'm looking for somewhere else, I will definitely find it here. No other time, though. It's still a great store. Staff is nice too.

I love this store! They always have what I need and are all so friendly and kind.
