S&S Braiding Studio

I needed more hair done for a wedding. I called S&S around 9am. I was told a stylist would call me back. I received a call back from Ashley and we scheduled an appointment for later today at 12. I got there a little late AND forgot my hair. I had to go to a hair store to buy more. Ashley was so gracious about the whole thing. She was very professional. We started at about 1 and she finished at 4pm. I was a wonderful experience. And I hate going to salons. I almost never do. And never more than once because most of them are horrible and unprofessional. S&S was refreshingly different. Ashley listened to exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it done. The parts are Cricket I asked for medium box braids and I got this I am very disappointed and it costed $180 she will not give me a refund at all just told me to get out and never come back

I really enjoyed this salon. It had an old school beauty parlor feel. Alicia did my box braids and she did a wonderful job and I would definitely go back. I would share pics but my face was bloated and YEESH! Overall, it was a nice little hidden gem that I would recommend. Very nice to walk in and really get the service you expect when you get your hair done. She washed and blow dried my hair, no fuss. It was a great experience overall and I will be going back.

Stay AWAY! Recently came to get some faux locs. The stylist got me soft locs instead. I was a lil disappointed but still tried them anyway because she had already brought them. Things got worse after that. I told her my hair was thick and that I'd need more that just TWO packs of hair. I like my hair full because it's already thick. Well she didn't listen and halfway she started running out of hair. I had to go get more hair. She had my hair parted extremely huge and I ask if she would not do my hair like that because it didn't look right and I like my hair full. She said I'm not changing my braid pattern. I was so disappointed because I paid 300 dollars. Granted I had a sew in on a cap removed but still. It's been 3 weeks and all the hair that's shoved into one crochet individual loc i
