Sport Clips Haircuts of Watauga

Went to Sport Clips today while trying to find a stylist/barber I can stick with long term. I’ve been to several places and am still searching for a keeper. I checked in online for Mari, but when I arrived she was finishing up with another customer, so Maggie took care of me. She was pleasant, friendly, and kind, and did a good job working with what I gave her. Since it was my first visit, I received the MVP treatment at no charge, which included a shampoo, warm towel, and face and neck massage—nice touch and definitely worth the extra cost, in my opinion. I arrived early and the place was spotless, with two stylists and only one other customer besides me. Even though the online check-in didn’t work out for me this time, it’s probably still the best option.

Mari is a professional and personable hair stylist. She is worth an additional wait time. The hair care products are top notch and reasonably priced. The shop area has a comfortable waiting area with television and cutting area is kept sanitary and free of soiled hair clippings. I would recommend Sport Clios-Watauga to everybody.

This place is horrible. The wait and ordering of customers is all over the place. When I arrived there were 3 people working and the board was filled with people requesting stylist Brittany, many stating the customer had not arrived. I selected 1st available stylist. While waiting for over an hour, The time for my haircut kept changing all over the place. Some of the customers that set brittany as a stylist that showed up saw the long wait and eventually asked to be changed to first available. The computer would put them on deck ahead of me. I complained and was just told the system was new. Brittany was available and about to call her next person when I had been waiting much longer than under 1st available status and she said she couldnt cut my hair and had to go by the computer.

My stylist is the best! I can always count on Marissa for a great cut. I am never disappointed. She is always pleasant and maintains a great attitude. Hopefully, she will be there to cut my hair for years to come, or at least until I lose the rest of my hair! Rod F.

I can’t praise Gabby, Maggy, and Brittany any higher. I’ll admit, with how thick my hair is, it can be challenging for the style I want, but these 3 grand slam it every single time and they could do it just as well with their eyes closed!!! Not to mention there awesome attitudes and conversations about life! This will always be my go to place!!!
