I arrived and noticed the shop was backed up, so I chose to wait. After approximately an hour, I received my haircut. Unfortunately, the stylist was not very friendly and did not seem receptive during the consultation. I explained in detail what I wanted, including guard sizes and where and how short to cut, and she acknowledged the instructions. However, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive, and I was asked how it looked in a tone that came across as unprofessional. I understand it was later in the day around 6:00 p.m., which is a common time for those who work standard hours and travel from out of town to get a haircut. Sequoia always does a wonderful job. Very professional and pleasant to talk with while getting my hair washed and cut. I appreciate the fact that she doesn't try to sell me stuff I don't need but answers questions knowledgeably when asked.

0 stars! I'm so furious, I sent my husband and son there to get haircuts and they came home with buzz cuts I could have done better at home in my bathroom then charged 52 dollars! My sons looks ridiculous. Never again! They said it was a slender woman with red hair.

Update: looking at these negatve comments- COME ON- To the sign guy- The business is a public place and should by code have its service hours clearly displayed and it's open/closed status. And you got mad because they should stay late to complete your cut? Not on approved OT but because you want the cut? With one in the chair and cleaning.. You're literally giving. A 1 star because they won't bend the knee and stay late without pay to appease. BOGUS. Get a clock get a clue, get a rooster. Great place. Been trying to find a place that will do a nice cut and I finally found it. Val did a great job and was pleasant to talk to. The theme of the business is cool and different. Highly recommend this place
