Sport Clips Haircuts of Opelika - Auburn Tiger Town

I should have known better than to give sportsclips another try, but I figured since I just moved here maybe it'll be ok. Jordan butchered my hair. Too busy gossiping and banging the clippers on my head to do a good job. She also apparently doesn't know what a fade is. She was very loud and talked "getto" the whole time (shes white btw not that it matters). Very unprofessional and frankly annoying. The way she was so rough with the clippers reminded me of getting haircuts in Army basic training. After getting home I notice just how much she messed it up. I really wonder if she even works there or if some rando just put on a name tag and decided to give it a shot.

I went to get a cut and beard trim, I treated myself because it was my birthday, Michelle didn’t know that but she gave me king treatment, I was a great experience. Ty again, I’ll be back.

Came here today and signed in and it was a 30 minute wait (no big deal) so I waited. I ended up waiting 60 minutes just for me to then realize that my name had disappeared from their que board. Just terrible. Didn’t end up getting a haircut today and lost my lunch break from work. What a waste of time.

My experience at Sport Clips was exceptional, as usual. I usually prefer Laura to cut my hair because she communicates what she’s about to do, ensuring I’m okay with it. However, at this point, I simply say, “Go ahead and do what you think,” and then I’ll make a few comments while she’s cutting my hair. I want to acknowledge the hard work it takes to maintain a conversation with someone while cutting their hair, all while keeping the store running efficiently and professionally. It’s impressive, if you ask me. Oh, you did! Haha. But the main reason I wanted to leave a review is to ensure Sport Clips realizes how fortunate they are to have a person like Laura on their payroll, managing one of their stores.

Absolutely love the stylists here! They’re amazing at accommodating my autistic son despite the communication issues! I wish I knew the stylist’s name to personally give her a shout out! 🙌
