Sport Clips Haircuts of College Station

(Mom commenting here) Grace at the College Stayion University Ave location was so kind and sweet. She listened to my boy that wanted to get rid of his “boy” haircut and get a “young man” cut. She asked questions to gain understanding of exactly what he was wanting. She was precise with his cut, giving him the feeling that she genuinely wanted to devote time to make him and his desires feel important. She took the time to educate him about his new styling product and showed him how to use it and how to style it in a few different ways for him to get a feel for what he wants to go with. She was very helpful and welcoming. So glad we picked this location to go to and got her as his stylist. Highly recommend her.

In all the years I've been going to Sport Clips I have never had a negative experience. This gang was more of the same, friendly, professional, helping me get signed in and making everything easy. The woman that cut my hair was friendly, courteous, professional and skilled as well as talented. Took my vague ideas and turn it into a really nice haircut my wife even approves of! This was a great visit! Tammy was very prompt in calling me for my cut. She gave me an excellent cut, was very professional, and very friendly in conversation. The wash and massages were excellent. I will definitely Be back, and I’ll try to book an appointment with her again!

I signed in online at 9:15am with a 1 minute wait time. I get to the store and complete the sign in. My name is at the top of the list. Someone is already getting a haircut, so I figure im next. I wait 35 minutes for them to finish and instead of being next someone else gets called. I would've had to wait another 30 minutes. So I just left. I dont know how I got skipped. I signed in with a 1 minute wait time, was at the top of the list but would've had to wait over a hour for a hair cut. Not a great experience.

If you want a calm, quiet haircut, do not use the stylist Tammy. She’s been my stylist twice because she was the first available, and goodness does she talk. To me, a haircut is time for me to relax and unwind, so I don’t like to talk or be talked to when getting my hair cut. However both times she cut my hair she asked an excessive amount of questions, and continued asking questions despite my short, vague, dismissive answers. Questions like “what are you doing today? What errands are you running? Where do you work? What vacations do you have planned? What are your plans for Halloween? What about Thanksgiving? What about Christmas?” Then the questions got awkward and personal. “Do you have any kids? Do you want kids? Why don’t you want kids? Do you cook? Why don’t you eat meat?” Like I sa
