I was looking for a stylist close to home that could help me restore my natural hair. Made my first appointment with Miriam and was pleasantly impressed. The shop is so inviting and relaxing. Miriam is very welcoming, easy conversationalist and highly skilled on all things hair. I look forward to this healthy hair journey- on my way to booking my next appointment.

When I first visited Speedy Hair Spa in 2018, I was so frustrated and embarrassed about my hair being broken off due to over processing and heat damage. Miriam was very encouraging about helping me get my hair into better condition. Today, I have been attending Miriam's shop for the past 3 years now and I am so amazed with how long and healthy my hair is. Miriam gave me the encouragement to appreciate my natural hair and I have never been more happy about the condition of my hair and taking care of it. The shop is cozy, clean, and Miriam is a very cordial person and skilled stylist. I really enjoy it here and would recommend it.

I just recently relocated from Portland Maine and decided to google hair salons in the Durham area. Miriam is wonderful!! Very professional and her shop is very relaxing. I have made the right choice and I feel great about it. So, if you are looking for a five star salon please check her out you will not regret it!!

For the past few years I've been going, my hair is always the exact color I want, exact style I ask for and always feels healthy and amazing. Miriam is amazing! I rarely go to hair salons and they are not my favorite type of places but she made me feel very comfortable and did an excellent job! Miriam is a great hair stylist who will listen to your requests, and advise as well. It also feels like a very safe place given the current pandemic situation and the measures she is taking. Just perfect :)
