We love Alissa! She cuts and styles my 96-year old mother's hair, and keeps it light and simple to care for. Also cuts my hair and will help me find a new look. It was my time meeting Alissa and she matched my vision beyond my expectations. I move a lot for work and its hard to find someone who I love and trust to do my hair. Blonde highlights and a trim is what I usually get. She went above and beyond what I was looking for. I even got a number on my car when I was done with the appointment ;) Alissa, you are Magic! Laura Zhou has been styling my hair for years now. She understands how to work with my waves, and I’ve gotten compliments over the years for exactly this reason. The other stylists at this location are always friendly, the place is comfortable and clean. Laura makes her schedule work to fit you in. I trust her implicitly.

If I could give zero star , I would have given to Laura Zhou because she is very old stylist I have had ever seen. Without any washing hair or make a wetting hair, she just start cut my hair. The final haircut was completely different with the picture I showed her. Without any attention to my request, she only did whatever was in her mind. Poor customer service, very expensive just only for cut my dried hair without any specific style that I asked her was my experience in Special FX salon

Alyssa is spectacular. The compliments I’ve received on my new short haircut are numerous. I’m in love with the color!!!! No problem driving from my home in Oakland.... so worth it!!!!!!!!!
