SpaceX Masseys Test Site

Massey's Test Facility, also known as Massey's Outpost, is a SpaceX testing site located at Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas. Acquired by SpaceX in 2021, the site was formerly Massey's Gun Shop and Range. It serves as the primary location for cryogenic, structural, and engine testing of Starship prototypes, Super Heavy boosters, and test tanks. The facility includes a structural test cage for assessing the strength and durability of vehicle sections, as well as an engine testing station equipped with a flame trench and tank farm for engine evaluations. Since May 2024, Massey's has been the sole location for Starship static fire tests, following the decommissioning of the Suborbital Launch Site. The establishment of Massey's Test Facility allows SpaceX to conduct critical testing operation
