Visited for the first time today. The location does not have a bathroom. You have to walk outside the building and into the adjacent building lobby, which is not connected by any kind of accessible path much less any weather protection. Where I grew up in Arkansas, we call that an outhouse.
Staff is nice, but there isn't an easily accessible bathroom in the co-working area (you either have to go up SEVERAL flights of stairs or outside). The phone rooms aren't conducive to working in - they have armchairs in them? With everyone on zoom all the time, who wants to take a call from an armchair? It's also not as flexible as they make it sound. You have to cancel online, but that system doesn't seem to work properly and they are no help in fixing it (was charged an extra month for a cowering membership I won't be able to use).
This is a nice space if you are able-bodied. Good location, parking access, lots in walking distance, great staff. If you have mobility challenges, this is not the place for you (see other comments about bathroom access). Also, the workspaces are not ergonomic. No sit/ stand options and the chairs at the quiet desk space don't adjust to proper height. The front tables would be a nice option w the addition of outlets. I like working here as a nice change from my home office and to see friendly faces.
African American woman working at the front desk with headphones in her ears has a really bad attitude. Looked at me and scurried to the back when she saw me approaching. Rolled her eyes at me about 5 times within one minute of interaction.
Great Networking event with Durham Business Networking. Not only do we meet new people and learn about their businesses, we also have guest speakers that talk about various aspects of entrepreneurship. The goal is to provide people, tools, and resources to help you become a fundable business.
