Spa At Whitefish Lake

I’ve gone back and forth on writing this because I’m part of this community and truly wanted this spa to be my place. Unfortunately, after being a regular client and spending a significant amount of money here, I’ve been consistently disappointed. The biggest issue is the lack of continuity. The front desk seems to have constant turnover, so even as a regular, staff do not remember you, your preferences, or even that you have an active gift card or credit. Each visit feels like starting from scratch. The facility itself is also showing its age. The sauna is frequently out of order, and there are no bathrooms within the spa area — you have to leave in your robe and walk down the hallway to the main building restroom, which really breaks the relaxation experience. It's so hard writing this review because I come from a city so I think the expectation level between city and small town spas are different and I would have given more stars having factored that in except for the fact that the front desk staff was totally unaccommodating. When we first arrived The girl was not welcoming and didn't offer us a tour or show us where to change. When we asked where things were she showed us around unenthusiastically... From a more " upscale" spa you definitely expect the people at the front desk to be friendly and make you feel welcomed. The hot tub was beautiful and the complementary glass of champagne with tasty. I have had many massages over the years. Today was the best massage that I can remember. Donnell was my masseuse, if you want to experience a top level massage she is the one I recommend. 10 out of 10. 80 minutes was awesome.

Cozy and welcoming, I enjoyed a massage at the spa that was just perfect, working out all of the knots and leaving me feeling so relaxed. We sipped complimentary mimosas while waiting for the rest of our group and then enjoyed the remainder of the day at the well appointed pool area where the view was incredible and the service was top notch. I highly recommend making time for a day here, especially if you have been enjoying all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. My only suggestion is having a shower area available to spa guests.

We got a couples 90 minute hot stone massage to start out vacation, and it was fantastic. The spa is welcoming and relaxing from the moment you walk in; there was water and tea available in the waiting area, and they also offer a complimentary glass of champagne. Our therapists were excellent, very intuitive with pressure and knots. We finished with a nice cool glass of lemon water before going on our way.
