Spa at the Shoals

Leslie gave me a phenomenal deep tissue massage and Layla gave my wife a relaxing massage. This was our second time visiting this spa and we will be back for more. Everyone is very friendly and professional. They all work together to make sure you have an amazing experience from the reception all the way to the table and back. Thank you so much.

Shelaine gave me the most relaxing facial. Her personality had a calming effect. Her techniques were luxurious. I especially liked the hot stones on my arms and hands and the scalp massage. She was not pushy about products. She even gifted me an eye treatment in honor of the annual remembrance of Christ's gift on Good Friday. Hope to be able to schedule another spa day with her.

I absolutely love this spa! I’ve visited the Spa at Muscle Shoals over half a dozen times and my favorite masseuse is Layla This spa is an oasis and a perfect getaway weekend if you live in northern Alabama or southern Tennessee. Let the gang play golf while you enjoy the spa. They have a whirlpool hot tub, lots of varieties of treatments too - stone, Swedish, manicures, pedicures and much much more! I think they are even offering couples massages now too ❤️🧘‍♀️

Part 1...I have attempted to speak with a manager every day since my visit to the spa last Friday (8/8/23), & unfortunately my attempts have been unsuccessful. After traveling 8 hours my husband & I arrived to the Marriott Shoals around 5pm on Friday. I immediately walked to the spa hoping for an available appointment for a manicure & pedicure to have fresh nails for a wedding we were attending the next day. I was delighted when the very friendly receptionist did tell me there was availability at 7pm for an express manicure & pedicure. I proceeded up to our room to unpack & relax before my appointment. Got a deep tissue massage that was honestly amazing! I needed some more therapeutic style deep tissue massage and Tara really listened to my problem areas and focused so much on helping me and she gave me some good exercises for TMJ to release some pressure in my jaw as well for the future. They also have a lovely seating area, sauna, and a hot tub that I didn't get there early enough to enjoy - next time!
