Spa at Ross Bridge

For years, I looked forward to experiencing the spa at Ross Bridge. On August 11, 2025, I finally booked a service, expecting a luxury resort spa experience that reflected the reputation and pricing. Unfortunately, what I encountered was something entirely different. Let’s start with transparency: the photos online are enhanced. The current condition of the spa does not match what is being marketed. The facility is visibly outdated and in serious need of a full renovation. Cleanliness was the most concerning issue. The steam room had visible mildew, aging tile, and hair present. I was genuinely uncomfortable sitting down. In any spa, especially one positioned as upscale -that is unacceptable. We had the most amazing couples massage at the spa at Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa and it exceeded every expectation. My massage was with Maya, and it was truly the best massage I’ve ever had. She asked thoughtful questions about my target areas and actually listened. The pressure was perfect, and I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. My husband had Leslie, and he said she did an incredible job as well. He recently tore his shoulder, and she was very mindful, working around the injury while still giving him real relief. 4/5 stars! My 50 minute relaxation massage with Darius was wonderful. The room and table were very comfortable. My only complaints: the whirlpool is not very warm. I was hoping to spend more time relaxing in it but it was room temperature which is a bit chilly in December. I also wish there was a little bit more privacy between the bathrooms and where people are walking around and entering. It is a very open concept with not much privacy! The front desk woman was not very kind. The mimosa was yummy, attendants were very kind, and the massage was great!

I truly enjoyed everything. My wife truly had an experience that words are not able to express. I want to thank a few people and give them the upmost gratitude and thanks for all they did. Mrs. Jenita, she help me with all the fine deals that was going wrong on Saturday morning. She handle it clam and took charge and said I will get it taken care of. I had order strawberries for my wife. They didn't come like I was told. This wonderful lady took a few minutes out of her day and hand delivered the strawberries to my wife. Had a massage here today. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is top tier, dark and relaxing which is what I like.
