Southwind Barber Shop

Here is why I gave them a 1 star: 1- it is all about customer service. There are hundreds if not thousands of places where we could get excellent haircuts but people chose and continue to go back to places where the customer service is better. We as customers are willing to pay more if we like the work you do and the customer service. Unfortunately, I went in and the guy looked at me and just ignored me completely.... I thought it was weird but did not care much, I said maybe he just busy with the other customer and forgot to say something like:"hi we will be right with you or welcome or some sh... like that". Another guy came out of the back, i looked at him to see if he was going to say something or take me... he passed right by me, got his phone and went back out... I said well maybe h

So I arrive to the establishment at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon I look on the door the door says walk-ins welcome. I try to get serviced, but barber told me that they only take appointments. I see 2 barbers standing there with no clients. There is no one person waiting and I was told that I couldn't get service because, they only work by appointment. The doors clearly states that, walk-ins are welcome.

Don’t put “walk-ins welcome” on your door, and make us feel unwelcome when we walk in. Then no one seemed to want to help my son and I. It was just a simple cut and blend. I’m okay, just was walking by, and saw a black owned business I wanted to support. No thanks!

Best barbershop I've been to in a while. They offer your basic shave and haircut but do a great job. They have a repore with customers and each other. They all act in a professional manner, safe environment for kids. They keep the shop clean and follow guidelines about their equipment. They work by appts so wait time is very minimal. TVs every way you turn so you don't miss the games.

Door says walk in welcome. Walked in saw one Barber and nobody else in the shop waiting to get a cut. And told me it was appointments only. LOL no thanks
