Erin one of the stylist dyed my hair blonde to help my roots. Not only did she make me feel uncomfortable about getting my hair done but she completely fried my hair after explaining that I just wanted a touchup on my root when she proceeded to dye my whole head of hair. My hair was ashy grey when I just wanted a blonde tone.

My husband and I just moved our family to the Fruit Cove area. I decided to find a new salon closer to our new home. The wonderful moms on my Jax Mom Blog recommended Southern Roots. I brought my daughter to have her hair colored for her bday. Amanda went above and beyond to get my daughter’s hair the exact way that she wanted it. She even took extra time out of her day and her efforts did not go unnoticed. My daughter is feeling beautiful and confident now.

Dana is amazing, she always listened and understood what outcome I am looking for and nails it perfectly everytime. I pull red tones, and she does really knows how to keep it from showing up. I love how simple it is to reach her and fast response. I wish I could give her a 10 star 🌟.

I have been going to Southern Roots on San Jose Blvd for over a year. Dana is an exceptional stylist. She has always ask what I want to accomplish with a haircut, highlight! She has never failed to to deliver on my expectations!! I had scheduled Dana for a partial highlight, haircut, shampoo, and blow dry. She was available before my scheduled appointment and gave me a courtesy call so I can show up earlier. I was happy to receive the call. I showed her a photo of the color highlight I wanted for my jet black hair. She skillfully bleach my strains of hair. Then shampoo and applied toner for a crispy caramel shine. I had my hair layered and thinned out. The length was exactly as requested and my head is so much lighter. Dana did a wonderful job and I would recommend her for anyone who wants a highlights or just a haircut. Hope this review was helpful.
