Amanda did an amazing job and gave me a style even better than what I had envisioned. This was my first time here and she came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The entire experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and inviting. Everyone was super friendly and I did not feel like a newbie customer at all. Super chill vibe with a family feel.

I’ve had black hair for a very long time, so I was honestly nervous about making a change. Alyssa did an amazing job lifting the black and giving me beautiful highlights — it was a full transformation. I was a little skeptical at first since she’s newer, but wow… she truly exceeded my expectations. She took her time, was careful, and the results turned out better than I imagined. The rest of the staff were just as wonderful. The owner, Jessica, makes the whole place feel warm and welcoming — like a scene out of Steel Magnolias where everyone just wants to sit, chat, and enjoy the atmosphere. The vibes are so positive and friendly. 10/10 experience — I’m so glad I trusted her with my hair! Thanks again !! Gabbie

I got my haircut with Amanda, and I couldn’t be happier. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she took the time to understand my hair, my preferences, and what would best complement my face shape. The result is genuinely the best haircut I’ve ever had—beautifully tailored, flattering, and exactly what I needed.

My first time at Southern Roots Salon today and I already booked my next appointment! I absolutely recommend Amanda & Jessica to anyone looking for a salon with stylists that know exactly how to help you look your best. Amanda gave me a fabulous haircut (I was way overdue!) and she paid attention to all the details. The vibe at SRS is immediately welcoming, and that mattered to me. Southern Roots and Jessica are just amazing. Jessica did my makeup in my hair for our vow renewal. She also did my oldest as well as my youngest and granddaughters here for our ceremony. She was excellent my hair looked beautiful. My make-up stayed on even though there was rain and heat. My oldest has very thin hair and she gave great recommendations she was able to style it beautifully that is talent. My youngest hair looked gorgeous and she was able to do a three-year-old hair without any fussing. Talent is just amazing and she was so great to work with a step above and you will not regret using Southern Roots! Jessica is amazing!
