Southern Reflections Hair Salon

I had my hair done two days before at another salon and was very unhappy. Kaitlyn rescued my hair, correcting the color and giving me the look I originally wanted, all while working with me to make me feel like I was in control of what was happening. I definitely recommend coming here! All of the stylists are kind and very well trained.

Kim was a little side tracked with her granddaughters hair while I was there so it took about 2.5 hours to get some highlights (wanted a balayage) and a trim. I sat at the sink for so long my head had a sore spot the next day… I thought I was getting what I wanted and thought it looked nice curled and styled regardless of the technique.. but when I showered the next day I realized it wasn’t at all what I wanted. It was pinstriped and the highlight didn’t go to the root.. It was so pinstriped I kept getting asked if I got pulled through a cap!!!! ugh. blunt lines across where the highlight started and in some areas the highlight didn’t make it to the end of the strands… not only that but there was a line across the back of my head where something went wrong. Wow! What service and professionalism, the salon was incredible! I’m from San Francisco, but was here for work. I was worried about getting my hair colored and cut by someone that was not my stylist in SF, but Alicia did amazing, made me feel special and taken care of. Alicia and Kim helped me pick out some products for my hair and try a line of makeup that I had not heard of before. In my 28 years of searching for the right cosmetic line, spending God knows how much, I found the make up I’ll be using for the rest of my life, all thanks to these ladies. They had such patience, felt like a completely different person as I walked out.

I have gone there off and on for over 10 yrs... Love Miss Kim! Other ppl have done my hair there as well , and did a great job. Just saying she's so beautiful, inside and out and does a great job every time. Gonna call tomorrow and see when she can fit me in cause I want a little color and she is excellent in helping me figure out what I want exactly. Love Southern Reflections !
