Kristen at Southern Pines Massage is TRULY exceptional. She has an almost uncanny intuition for identifying the exact areas of the body that need attention, and every session feels tailored with precision and care. I like to think of her work as a “functional massage” — part physical therapy, part deep therapeutic massage. After two knee surgeries and a lower laminectomy, I had tried everything to manage lingering pain and mobility issues. Kristen has been nothing short of a miracle worker. Her skill, knowledge, and ability to read the body have made a remarkable difference in my recovery and day-to-day comfort. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I have had the pleasure of having numerous massages from Kristen. It started with an overall feeling that everything in my body was just tight and not working the way it should. At my first appointment, Kristen listened to what I had observed going on with my body and asked many questions to help pinpoint where her focus should be. Now, a couple years after first meeting her, I am in training for a marathon (first one in 12 years) and she has been an important part of the process. Kristen is amazing. After a rollover car accident I was diagnosed with a small rotator cuff tear. Had lots of stiffness in shoulders and neck. 12 sessions of PT made a big difference but therapist suggested I continue recovery with monthly massages. I found Kristen through IG. Have been seeing her monthly for almost one year. Now have full range of motion in neck, shoulders and right arm with little to no pain. Kristen is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. An excellent choice for a massage therapist.

I have gone to Kristen for two (2) 90-minute massage appointments for glute and lower back pain. At both massage therapy appointments, Kristen listened to my concerns and addressed them with a plan of how to get my mobility back in check. I am now pain free in my lower back and glutes feel amazing. I have much greater range of motion and have been able to continue to lift heavy in the gym. Kristen is no doubt the key to keeping me active! I cannot recommend her enough.
