Southall Farm & Inn

We stayed at Southall for two nights and absolutely loved every minute of it. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Guest services, the waitstaff, even the groundskeeper — every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful. A special shoutout to Garrett, who started a fire for us, brought blankets, and was so friendly and charming. It’s those thoughtful touches that make a stay feel truly special. The spa is lovely and such a peaceful escape. Emily gave me an amazing facial — one of the best I’ve had — and the sound bath was such a unique, calming experience. I can’t say enough great things about South Hall farm and Inn. I have coined a new phrase called the “Adjacent Vacation”. Not a staycation because I’m not staying in my home ,which I also work from, but I am scooting away just a short distance just shy of an hours drive away from my residence to be in this wonderful ,warm, incredibly inviting surroundings where I am embrace by the gorgeous surroundings of nature. All of the staff were incredibly polite and knowledgeable and cordial. Not once did I pass a member of the staff of South Hall when they did not say hello , ask how I was doing and greeted me and simply acknowledged my presence. That was a wonderful feeling. We visited the spa but did not stay at the resort. Had a fantastic time! The spa was great. We got massages, did a sound bath, spent a lot of time in the mineral pool, spent time in the sauna and steam rooms. We were there probably six hours total. If you're looking for relaxation, this is the place! Service was excellent. We also went to Sojourner (don't forget to make a reservation) and that was great too. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Southall Farm & Inn, and even during my short stay, the experience was exceptional. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed—but what truly stood out was the level of customer service. A special thank you to Steve Bryan, Head of Security, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. It’s clear that excellence in service is a priority at every level of the organization. Wife went with her friends for a bridal party and it was a beautiful facility and offered great services. No complaints there - but there were instances of staff members being disrespectful to her and friends which is very unfortunate. We understand it’s an upscale spa etc - but there is no need to be disrespectful when it comes to Valet or even checking out to pay. It is sad to have their day put off by such disrespectful workers. Other than being treated like that, it’s a great massage and place.
