I really do not recommend this store to black women. My girlfriend walked in and from the jump they treated her like a problem instead of a customer. Faces made at her, rushing to take her bag away (she had literally just bought something from the store next door), and then she was followed into another section of the store. Just so excessive for a store that looks like it clearly needs the business. She felt so uncomfortable and wanted to leave. It honestly seems like they’ve perfected the art of being rude and losing customers. If their goal was to embarrass and push people away, congrats—they nailed it. I went here to buy hair extensions. I asked for assistance since they are behind the counter and the employee who assisted me informed me that I would need 22 inches due to my hair being pretty long already. After selecting a few and matching my hair color, she handed me some that matches my hair color and I went to purchase them. When I got home, I began styling them and that’s when I realized that she gave me the wrong length! I returned in the morning to exchange them, but they refused stating that because I opened the package they could not do any returns or exchanges, even though it was their employee who handed me the wrong length. I went to south Texas ONLY because my regular Sally’s location moved uptown McAllen I walked in to South Tx and instantly an associate started following me at first I thought she just doing her job, but I moved she moved, she literally stood next to me just staring I finally asked her if she needed help?? She replied that she was just looking to restock her isle, I’m like ok… I moved to next isle she followed me finally frustrated I told her I’m not going to steal anything you don’t need to follow me around it’s just weird, stuttering she tried to say she trying to decide what to restock.. I don’t do reviews but she needs serious customer service skills and if indeed she’s been coached on following/profiling certain people then she needs training.
