There are excellent hair stylists for women & men. Experienced with razor-cut styling, on request. A good quality, small, comfortable salon. Much liked by loyal customers. This salon is friendly and welcoming, unlike Visage, a few doors away. Come to South Mane for a caring and impartial, friendly atmosphere. People love to work here, and customers are consistently helpful and chatty.

🛑 DO NOT GO TO HOPE AT SOUTH MANE SALON IN BEL AIR!! 🎉 THANK GOODNESS FOR MC SALON! I took my 16 yr old to South Mane Salon to the owner, Hope, to have her hair done. I provided the photos of a balayage with a subtle face frame and dark root (my daughter’s hair is beautiful dark brown so the root didn’t need anything done to it). After 2 hours, foils, heat dryer, etc, the pictures below are what she got. My daughter had a chunky 1998 stripe full highlight, very badly done, extremely uneven tones, orange, cheetah print coloring and a terrible choppy uneven haircut. I told Hope it didn’t look ok and we couldn’t leave like that and the root should not have been touched. Another stylist came and told her to do a root smudge. It didn’t help- but at that point I knew we had to get help elsewher

If you want a reasonable, professionally well done manicure and/or pedicure ask for Jenny. She is extremely friendly and polite. My nails have never looked so good. She has approximately 100 colors from which to choose. Her work space is light and airy. You will feel great she's finished.

Dana Dixon does my color, cut , and hi lites. She does a wonderful job and is reasonable, compared to most hairdressers. She looks young , but has over 20 yrs of experience. My husband even notices when I get my hair done, and for 70 yo, he says that I look 50!!

Dana was amazing! Listened to what would fit my lifestyle (no fuss, no products!), and then effortlessly cut and styled my overgrown hair. Looks fantastic - a high-end cut for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
