Sophia African Hair Braiding

Sophia did my human hair kinky crochet today. I love it so much. It was a wonderful experience and friendly atmosphere. The price is right. I definitely recommend this place. I will definitely come back for more styles Thanks so much Sophia🥰

Ugh! So, I will say actually getting my hair done was a smooth and seamless process. However, much is lacking. The good: Called the morning of 10/7/2025 inquiring about a style sent a picture. The person answering the phone said I could come in. Got there around 11am started right away. The bad: They are a bit expensive and the braiders skill does not match the prices charged. I got a Fulani style. Cornrows in the front, box braids in the back, boho, about mid-back, medium size. Total cost $240. I’m not typically a person that complains about price but only 7 days later the cornrows in the front are lifting. For $240 that should never happen. Will I go back to have it fixed ? No, I will never go back and if you are reading this I encourage you to avoid this salon.

Amazing! Sophia is so kind and has a beautiful spirit. She is accommodating and always smiling. The stylist are also amazing. Chantel did my hair and she’s amazing!!!

Unfortunately after my third visit I will not be returning. Sophia’s sister did my knotless braids and I am severely disappointed. I asked for medium knotless and got small despite being clear of the size I wanted and was told that “she is going to make them smaller to avoid it being heavy.” This also came with a higher price ($260) to which I provided a $15 tip (totaling $275). After sitting for 10 hours and paying I went to look at my hair and was extremely disappointed. The parts were sloppy, crooked, and nowhere near the same size. It was almost as if she purposely made them extra wide in the back to avoid having to do more braids. When I pointed out the sloppiness BEFORE leaving my I was told I can come back for a discount or come back to fix it. I called back and asked if I could
