Solar Nails & Spa at Newpark

I used to love this place. I had to get a dog sitter for my visit and definitely needed to relax but when I got there no one really looked happy and while I tried to converse with the techs one just said she was going home then her colleague took over before a 3rd came in and I forgot who was even working with me. They left the callous remover on without washing off properly and the ten extra dollars for a massage? Didn't happen! It was a 70.00 fail on their part and I do not plan to go back. Sad since even a year ago at least the techs didn't take turns doing one job.

THE WORST SALON EVER ! Incredibly rude people, especially the man, dirty place and unprofessional. I literally walked out with wet feet ! Rough pedicure, nasty people and they should be out of business! DO NOT GO TO SOLAR SALON

DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I had read the reviews before stepping foot in this place. The staff is unbelievably rude—I’ve never encountered such nastiness in my life. The place was completely empty when I walked in, and now I know why. When I asked if they had time for an appointment, they acted annoyed, and when I double-checked, the response was, “We don’t get along, you can go.” I was shocked! When I pointed out how rude they were, they actually said, “You’re rude too.” Unbelievable. The existing reviews are spot on; this place is awful. I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to avoid it at all costs. To top it all off, when I accidentally kicked something on the floor and apologized after picking it up, the lady snapped, “Do not put it there.” She looked unwell, with red eyes

Got a gel pedicure today, completely rushed without attention to detail for $50. They painted my five year olds nails (no spa services, just polish, didn’t even do top coat on her toes) and charged $25. This is what they advertised for the cost of an adult manicure. Save yourself and head to Nails Labelle five minutes away for quality service and transparent pricing.

Wow - My $40, 10 min gel manicure was the fastest rushed job ever. It had to be 30 sec soak, quick buff, polish. Nothing on my cuticles (why I even wanted a mani), paint left on my finger tips, and polish even coming up minutes after I left. Middle of the day with employees sitting around too. I’m a local and will never go back.
