I went to HomeBody salon inside the studios. Ariel is a consumate professional. Not only is she personable she is also skilled and knowledgeable in all matters of hair care. She up sold me to do my badly needed brows as well. I loved my time at HomeBody and will return for the color that she explained so well to me once I get better settled in Rapid City. Check with her directly for future endeavors she has coming to beautify the people of Rapid City in a seasonal type of way.

I went to Leigh (hairbyleigh) for a haircut and she did AMAZING! She was incredibly sweet, professional and listened to exactly what I wanted! I will be going back to her :)

Ariel at Homebody cancelled my appointment last minute. I’m glad I got tons of emails stating I would be charged if I didn’t show up. I luckily found another salon who was able to get me in same day. I wouldn’t waste your time trying to get in with Ariel.

I went in to get my hair cut thinking I would have a good experience and feel good about my hair afterwards. I wanted an a-line and that's what I had asked for. Either the lady didn't know how to cut an a-line, which she should have just said from the beginning, or she judged me and intentionally screwed up my hair. My hair is curly and a little damaged. Not only did she drench my hair and cut it super wet one side is longer than the other, one side is angled while the other side is straight across. There's literally chunks missing out of my hair. There are strangly longer pieces all over. By the time she was done she expressed to me that I would probably just have to wear my hair up for a while. All I want to do everytime I look at it is cry. I don't live in South Dakota. I looked for salons that would take walk-ins for a haircut. When I arrived around 9:00am the door has WALK-INS WELCOME. But there is not reception desk. There are many numbered private little salons. I finally found one where the stylist was able to talk. I asked how I could get a haircut. She told me to walk around and see if any one was free. So I did. NOPE! Waste of time! Inaccurate advertising! I've told everyone here who will listen how frustrated I was. Will never go back!
