Sola Salon Studios

The employees have individual cubicles. They must pay rent to the owners of this place. They do not work and see others perform. That is important so they may see if other coworkers have new and important techniques. The person I was recommended to had her daughter doing the hair washing and her daughter needed to be shown how to give a decent hair wash. The poor washing made my discission not to return. I have no idea how the other hairdressers are because I couldn't view their work as this place is not designed to see other hairdressers work.

I recently had my hair colored at Sola Salon 47 in Newtown by Elaina. I wrote an unflattering review because my hair had a dark strip down the middle, but it turned out to be a miscommunication on my part. Elaina at Sola Salon fixed my hair and corrected the color. She did a beautiful job! My hair now looks even better than it did previously. I will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend Elaina!

Gave 3 stars because the concept of the studios is cool. But Opal tattoo. They deserve 0 stars. Not a real tattoo artist. Avoid at all costs. You've been warned.

I see Nicole the colorist in the reg. Shes amazing! Highly recommend.

I have been going to Elaina for years, and have always been very happy with my hair. I trust her to do what is best and always have fantastic results. I would highly recommend Elaina at Salon 47 to anyone!
