SOCO Spa

Long Review but needed! I've been to many places around STL & I will be back at this location! I read the Reviews prior. I'm positive everyone that gave a negative Review are the folks on the cheap end of the financial spectrum. So, with that being said, if you're looking for a cheap massage & want to relax, why are you coming to an Asian Spa? Most understand that there's a language barrier (not at this location), they're known for providing Deep Tissue work, Stretching and perform a Thai style massage. For the price that most Asian Spas price their sessions, most if not all are extremely cheap for the massive work that most of the places I frequent do. Highly recommend. Thought I'd take a chance on a new place and glad I did. Place was nice, clean, quiet and simply decorated. She (Merry)really did a good job finding and working on the tight and sore spots. This was a nice change from most Asian massage therapists who seem to just have a standard routine and if they get a spot great and if not oh well. My back gets pretty sore and she used several different techniques to loosen up the knots in my back & shoulders. When it was over I felt quite a bit better. A couple things, they do ask for the money up front and during a standard hour massage don't work on your feet (I think it's a separate thing as I've noticed several places are the same way). They are priced very fairly, are easy to get a hold of and can usually get you in pretty quick

I had Ava as my MT- she was very concerned with the level of pressure and asked me frequently if I was ok. Room was clean and well supplied- I felt very comfortable with her. I will return again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at SOCO Massage! From the moment I walk in, I feel welcomed and at ease. Mary is my massage therapist, and she is phenomenal—attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. I left feeling relaxed, recharged, and genuinely cared for, everytime. The space itself is peaceful and clean, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend SOCO Massage, and especially Mary—she’s a true gem!

I just got the worst massage I have ever gotten in my entire life from this place. I asked for a hard besides and she spent 40 minutes just digging her entire body weight into my back. I don't have back issues but I left there in literal pain limping out of the building even though I walkedin just fine. There is literally zero technique and she literally just heard me I get massages often from places all over St Louis because I do martial arts and it helps me recover. You will not find anything of what you're looking for here this is just terrible just save your mone and possibly you're back from pain and disappointment.
