Snip-its Haircuts for Kids

We had such a great experience! Dom was absolutely awesome… so kind and friendly, and she made my son feel completely comfortable while keeping everything professional. She took the time to validate his feelings, which really meant a lot. The place is super clean, and the checkout process was easy and quick. My son loved the fun little surprise each kid gets at the end, and the train table kept him happily entertained while we waited. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Snip-It My child is autistic, and haircuts can usually be very challenging, but the barber - Dom here was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. They took the time to make my child feel comfortable, moved at his pace, and handled everything with such calm professionalism. He is don’t like machine sound so she did all hair cut with scissors and haircut turned out great, also most importantly, my child stayed relaxed and happy throughout the process. It’s rare to find a place that truly understands and respects the needs of autistic children. I highly recommend this barber shop to any parent looking for a caring and skilled barber—especially for kids with special needs. Thank you for such a positive experience.

I took my 4-year-old to Snip-Its yesterday and Domonique was AMAZING. My son had some knots in his hair that I was really stressed about, and she handled everything with so much patience, skill, and genuine kindness. She took her time combing his hair out gently, kept him calm and comfortable the whole appointment, and never once made us feel rushed or judged. The space was kid-friendly without being overstimulating, and Dominique really understood how to work with little kids who get wiggly or anxious. My son left happy, confident, and looking adorable. If you have a little one with sensory needs or tricky hair, this is the place to go. She truly made what could’ve been a stressful day feel easy. Highly, highly recommend!

Highly recommend. The salon is set up to be really fun for kids and it was overall a positive experience for my son even though it was his first haircut. Jennifer did a great job giving him a practical haircut that still looks cute and kept some of the length we love up top. My son cried a lot and moved a lot but Jennifer handled it like a pro. We’ll be back for sure.

Dominique was awesome! My son has always hated getting his haircut. She was calm and made it fun. It went really well. She understood we only wanted his curls trimmed and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!
