Snip-its Haircuts for Kids

Ariel gave us the best experience! My son is autistic and always not wanted to cut his hair. He finally asked for a trim, 5 inches off. Ariel set the tone from the beginning with affirmations of him making big boy decisions and that long hair was so cool for a boy! She made his whole day. We left beaming. What I was so terrified was going to be a traumatic experience for my son turned into one of the best we've ever had!

I hadn’t taken the time to write this review, but after our experience two weeks ago, I truly felt it was important to share. We brought our 6 year old son, who is on the spectrum, in for a haircut. Even though we’ve been Snip-its customers for years, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Arielle. She went above and beyond for our son. She took her time, made him feel safe and cared for, and gently helped him transition from scissors to the clippers. Her patience, kindness, and understanding of his needs meant more to us than words can express. Thank you to the entire staff for creating such a welcoming and inclusive environment. My son had an amazing experience ! It was his first haircut and the stylist worked very quickly. He even got a cute little rattle toy afterwards which he’s been having fun with the entire drive home. Overall a very positive first haircut experience and a very friendly staff! Also the inside decor is super fun to look at. A great atmosphere for children

Been using this place since my son‘s first haircut. Always a really positive experience. Very kid friendly. Each kid gets their own iPad with whatever show they want and gets to pick out a toy at the end . We’ve been using Arielle recently and love her. She always does an amazing job and does exactly what I ask for. Plus she’s so sweet with my son

I went to Snip-its today to get my son’s haircut. After the haircut, I thought I would be able to leave a tip on my card, but that option was not available. Since I didn’t have cash on me, I left thinking I could tip the stylist next time I came in. Later, when I returned to car to leave with my aunt and was about to leave, the receptionist ran up to me and loudly said that I had given “no tip.” I explained that I didn’t have cash and that tipping is up to the customer, but I had planned to tip next time. To avoid any further issue, I asked my aunt for cash and she gave me $20. The haircut itself did not meet my expectations, so I decided to tip $5. When I handed over the $20, the receptionist rudely asked if I wanted change back. I said yes and told her she could keep $5 and return $15. E
