Unless you want a buzz cut all the way to the very top of your head and a little bit left on the front. Don't get your haircut here. Just don't understand how you can show somebody a picture of what you want and tell them plainly it's a low fade And you end up with a mohawk.. professional will look at the picture and simply say I'm not the best at that cut technique and pre-warn you. She practically buzzed the entire surface of my head, except for the very front now look like an 11-year-old in 1990 who used to buzz everything except for the front spiked. There's a reason she accepts walk-ins.

I had a great experience at Smokey’s Barber Shop on Church Street in Hendersonville, NC. Easy parking across the street, and inside, Kimberly worked wonders. Her 36 years of experience showed, blending old-school charm with modern style. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend her shop.

My experience with Kim at Smokey's Barber shop was nothing short of excellent. I rode my bike, locked it outside, even thought Kim offered let me park it inside out of the sun so I wasn't concerned about theft. She got right to work, gently cutting the haircut we discussed. Symmetrically trimming sideburns and beard and blending it smoothly into the fade ont he sides. Her traditional southern charm reminded me of how glad I am to have been raised in the south and the meaning of a firm handshake a quality eye contact. She is my new barber as long as she is still cutting! Customer for life!

Only place in hendo taking walk-ins (they don’t even take appointments here), turned out to be one of the worst haircuts I’ve had. She sat in her office and ate lunch for 15 mins after I sat down in her chair, talked over me and basically said no when I showed her references of a pretty simple haircut, talked over me when I told her what I wanted too. Told her keep the front fringe at eyebrow length, buzz the sideburns, trim the back a bit. She ended up just doing whatever she wanted to do and I walked out with hair way shorter than I asked for. I do not know how someone can ask you to trim their bangs and you decide to make them uneven and slick them back. It would be ok, except she cut it so uneven and unskillfully it was almost funny, gonna have to buzz can’t wait on it to grow out. I l
