This is a wonderful salon, I’ve been coming here for over four years, and I’ve loved every single cut I’ve gotten. Jesse is incredibly skilled and really takes the time to understand exactly what I want every time. My most recent haircut was genuinely life-changing. I got bangs and a shag, and every part of it was beautifully cut and it air-dries amazingly. It’s rare to find a stylist in Miami who is this consistent and attentive and always willing to try whatever I want with my hair. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place they can trust long-term!

Smith & Mendoza Salon is truly the best of the best. I found them years ago after a horrible color experience at another salon, and Jesse completely transformed my hair. He corrected the color and finally gave me the gorgeous copper shade I had been chasing for years. He even adjusted my formula to help reduce the fading and bleaching I was getting from the Miami sun, which made such a difference. Jessica is incredible with cuts. I always get the most precise, beautifully shaped haircut, and it grows out perfectly every time. After parting ways with my hairdresser of 20 years (moved to a different state), I have been to various salons. I always left these salons unhappy and unheard of what i wanted dine. Today after being recommended by my cousin to see Jesse, I left feeling heard, and the haircut is to die for. Since walking in I felt special, they treat me with the upmost respect, friendliness. Jesse took his time, never seemed rushed to get me out of the chair and continuously asked me if the length was to my satisfaction. I’m extremely pleased. Asymmetrical haircuts are no easy task!
