When you think of nails spa/salon, you think of a relaxing, good vibes, de-stressing environment. Well, I didnt get it here at Smiley Nails II. They should also change their name to "Grumpy Nails" than Smiley because Ive never seen anyone that works here smile aside from Julie! We came here (we are 2 adults, 2 kids) on Sunday (yesterday) not busy we also had an appointment. The vibes here was grumpy, tired vibes! The service I've got here from Ana (the one in the dark red shirt) was terrible!! She gave me this attitude that she was irritated Not Pleased that she was giving me the service! She was also wearing a headset the whole time she was giving me the foot spa pedicure and manicure. So her attention was not 100% and was distracted. Charged me $200 for a nochip mani pedi! For my daughter and I. The biggest waste of money. This place isn’t even luxurious so I didn’t expect to pay much. The girl who did my pedicure kept pulling on my toes and ended up cutting the bottom of my pinky toe. When I tell you it’s a basic mani/pedicure. No designs no nothing. A solid color. I would NOT recommend this place. There was no effort to get my feet soft. She literally scrub all areas once and was done. Smh.

I gave this place 2 trials. I got a certificate from someone to use here. The two times I went for pedicures was horrible. First time they cut my nails super short. Second time I went today my pedicure took 8-10 minutes the lady was rushing and made me feel so uncomfortable. Not just that she didn’t even removed the rest of my nail polish, not just that my feet have dry skin left she didn’t take her time at all, I’m so annoyed I wish I didn’t have to leave a tip. Not coming back. I’m new to elmhurst I was looking for a mail place but I guess I failed in that perspective. This place is terrible

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience here was awful from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a curt “Do you have an appointment?” followed by a dismissive “What do you want?”—both delivered with attitude and no hint of a smile. If it weren’t for the fact that I needed my dip nail color removed before surgery, I would have walked out immediately. I had just finished a long day at work and chose this place solely for its proximity to another appointment. Unfortunately, the experience only added to my stress. Despite specifically requesting square-shaped nails, the technician filed them into an oval shape without any regard for my preference. I have been to this salon 3 times now and I am so impressed! I have never had my no-chip manicure and pedicure look so good so consistently...and even with different technicians. My no chips are lasting 3+ weeks! These ladies do a stellar job. The environment is very clean and relaxing. I am SO glad to have found this salon and will continue to return.
