All of the stylists are very nice and friendly which I love. Netta is my stylist and she is AMAZING. I decided to get a perm. I have been natural for over 13 years and have not had a haircut in about 13 or more years. My hair is naturally grey and Netta did an amazing job on my perm and haircut and my oldest daughter's hair color and cut is gorgeous. Thanks Netta

I was a walk-in client and they were very kind and worked me into their schedule. Everyone there was very sweet and welcoming. There was a fun vibe and the other clients were obviously having a great time while getting their haircut and styled. Shea was my stylist and she is everything you could ask for in a hairstylist. She was kind, patient and willing to experiment with me. I love my haircut and I will definitely be back for all future haircuts. I would recommend this hair salon to anyone looking for a great haircut with really nice stylists.

It started off rocky and very disappointing. I had two appointments canceled when I had an important business conference on Friday in Birmingham at John Hopkins location. . I tried for the third time at SmartStyle , but it was the one off of Alanta Hwy in Montgomery!! I was lucky to have Derrica this time, and she did an absolutely amazing job with my hair. She took her time washing it so thoroughly (seriously one of the best washes I’ve had), then blow dried it out beautifully. She didn’t cancel on me and also explained to call the store to make sure the times are available. Thank you, Derrica, for the awesome job. I truly appreciate the care and attention you gave. I’ll definitely be back! 💇‍♀️✨

My visits are always a pleasant one because my stylist Shantell is very attentive to my hair needs. The entire staff are all pleasant and professional and I'm glad to be apart of the Smartstyle family.
