NOT SURE WHAT HAIRSTYLE SCHOOL SHE WENT TO NOR DO I KNOW HER NAME BUT I HAD MY APPOINTMENT AT SMARTSTYLE IN ANKENY 12/4/2025 HORRIBLE JOB I HAD TO JUST TELL HER TO STOP AND CHECK ME OUT CAUSE I COULDNT DO NO MORE.....I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE STYLE OF HAIRCUT THAT I REQUEST OR HAVE ANYONE COMPLAIN ABOUT MY STYLE OR MY HAIR AND TO TOP IT OFF SHE COMPLAINED ABOUT HER HAIR TRIMMERS NOT WANTING TO CUT MY HAIR CORRECTLY ....I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO TO SMART STYLE AGAIN IN MY LIFE MY 7 YEAR OLD SON COLD OF DID BETTER ....

My husband was actually thrilled with his hair cut! He said it was the best he's ever had and he only wants to have Ty take care of him from now on. She took her time and cut and styled his hair exactly as he wanted.

Awesome personality! Very friendly! Showed she cared. Has awesome skills! She did an amazing terrific and magnificent cut

The stylist was just amazing. Her skilled fingers had my haircut in 1/2 the time it usually takes and she did my mustache. First time it had ever been done and she leaned in close suddenly I wasn't even nervous. Excellent service. Would recommend to anyone.

If I could give less than one star I would. I came in 30 minutes before close, I asked the lady if she had time and she said she did. The entire time she was rude treated me and my son like we were stupid and I tired to be polite I went to stop her from doing anything because she was being so rude then she proceeded to shave a peice of my sons hair and said "well I already started" she called my son shaggy we were trying to tell her we didn't know how to explain it. Horrible service, if she would've just said she didn't have time I would've understood but instead she chose to be rude. Yes I cussed at her, making me feel stupid and uncomfortable is one thing but my son is another. Don't go here.
