The atmosphere is polished, welcoming, and effortlessly comfortable. Great conversation throughout the appointment and an experience defined by genuine attention to detail. Tyler is an exceptionally skilled stylist with a sharp creative eye and a clear passion for his craft. As both the stylist and business owner, his dedication and pride in the experience truly stand out. He takes the time to understand what you want while offering thoughtful, expert guidance. Tyler is the best barber I’ve had in Philadelphia, possibly the entire Northeast. He’s been cutting my hair since freshman year of college, back when he was working out of his dorm room, and the consistency has never changed. I have medium-to-long, slightly wavy hair that’s tough to cut the way I like, and Tyler has never missed. What sets him apart is his ability to understand both my vision and what objectively looks best. He asks the right questions, keeps the conversation easy, and consistently delivers. Highly recommend to anyone in the city or surrounding suburbs.

Tyler is an amazing barber, wizard with scissors. I used to strictly get fades, but he had a vision that I could pull off long hair and he was right!! His service is perfect and professional. From using scissors to clippers and even a straight razor for the beard. The environment that SLCKR has created is warm, clean, and inviting. I have been getting my hair cut by Tyler for 7+ years dating back to college and it never disappoints. The attention to detail and the vision are always there, and you’ll feel reassured constantly throughout the haircut as he asks for your feedback. His new studio is a massive level up, and I would definitely trust anyone who he decides to employ and put his name behind.
