I was in town for work and needed to get cleaned up. Was recommended to go to son city barber and ask for Genevie. I’m very stubborn with new people cutting my hair but she did a great job. If I’m in town again I will come back just to have her fade me up. Appreciate it and keep up the good work.

If you want a great haircut, this is the place to go. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the barber (Charlie) does a great job at cutting hair. Whatever style you want, he will cut it the exact way you want it. He'll take walk ins and appointments. Been going to him since I was a kid, and I love the way he cuts my hair. And you'll love it too.

i asked for 1 inch off the top the guy cuts off 3. He’s a nice guy but cannot do a scissor cut the fade was great but he messed up my whole cut. Took 45 minutes to do the fade and only 2 when we was cutting the top of my hair. He will tell u that he can cut white boys hair but no HE CANTTT!! 100% was your shop man. No hate against you as a person but stay far away if you dont want a bowl cut lmaoo

Charlie cut my sons hair extremely well. He had a full house and had to cut everyone his self and still was precise as well as interactive. I truly love how he has the youth in there helping him out. Keeping them in a constructive environment. Awesome highly recommend!

It’s no longer called Maurice’s Barber shop, it’s Charlie’s City Barber Shop. I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Charlie definitely knows what he’s doing. It’s next door to a Jimboys Taco shop, so if there happens to be a wait I can always grab a taco. He accepts appointments so that’s the smart way to get in but walk-ins are welcome too. I’ve personally seen these guys cut ALL types of hair and they do an excellent job. People always ask me where I get my hair cut. 5 stars easy.
