I don’t know his name (it must be Charley from the New England States) but he claims to be the worlds slowest barber but actually he is not . I have curly hair and ‘the slowest barber’ gave me the best hair cut I’ve had in years. Too bad its a 175 miles drive to get there.

Fabulous haircut by Charlie. He knew just what to do in my desperate need, and I got an appointment within a few days of calling. Lots of fun, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this salon.

I was a walk-in on Monday, October 26th. I think the stylist's name was Charlie? He said he could accommodate me in 1/2 hour and was ready when I returned. This is seriously the best haircut I've ever had! He paid so much attention to detail and cut my hair according to texture, strength, cowlicks. I remember hearing about precision cuts awhile ago and this must be what they mean? On the days I don't shampoo, I simply run my fingers through my hair and it falls into place. I've NEVER had a cut do that before. He didn't try to sell me any product (thank you) but did give me some tips for upkeep. He's also a really fun, kind person and very personable. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Borrego.

If I could leave 0 star rating, that’s what it should be. Visited shop and Charlie took my number to call me because he was too busy to schedule an appt. at the time and gave me his card...no problem. After a few days, no call, so I called him. He was at home and was headed to the shop and stated he would call back once there to schedule an appt. Hours passed, I called once again and left voice message. It’s been over a week now with no response. I will NOT beg anyone to take my money! Very poor customer service! Karin B

I got a last minute haircut from Jessica about a week back. She squeezed me in last minute, was beyond friendly, and did a heck of a job to boot! Would highly recommend stopping in, especially if you need a clean up while on vacation or on the road.
