I went a year ago and Kelly did a phenomenal job on my hair. I went the other day and was greeted by a very large rude blonde lady. Showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. It’s ok if she was slow in the brain but it didn’t seem like she was, just old. But she did not make my hair look anything like the photo and cut it down way too short. That’s ok tho, when I was leaving my tip I asked her to take place a 4.50 tip because that is what i believe she deserved but she made it 5. Ok rude, waste of my money will never come back

I like thus place. Its clean and super friendly. I used to go to the barber chair ik new lenox and the waiting line is always long and is not as clean. This place your book appointment online so no wait.

I will share both the good & the bad. Good- the facility is laid out very nice with 2 different waiting areas, one in front, one in back. My favorite thing about the place is the ability to pick your stylist, & schedule your appointments online, they do walkin's also.. My problem with the place was my appointment today. I have been going there for months, & I have built a relationship that was going well with a stylist, whom I am comfortable with. sooo, today I go at my scheduled time after receiving multiple text & emails reminding me of my scheduled time, & confirming my appointment with my chosen stylist. I show up, & I am told "your stylist is out today". "This lady will do it instead".. I am upset that the stylist herself, or someone at the shop did not text, call or email me saying

This was my first time there. It is a very good looking place both inside and out. I had a 2:30 appointment and was in the chair at 2:30. My stylist was very friendly and discussed in detail how I wanted my hair done. She did a great job and I was out by 3 pm with a great cut and shampoo.

Legit cannot say enough about this place, I will go months without a haircut to wait for Simon Philips. It's a super homey feel and great service! I recommend to anyone in the New Lenox area.
