Signature Hair Studio

I booked an appointment with Chatney Dawson, the owner of Signature Hair Studio who also does hair services in Murrieta, CA and paid in advance through StyleSeat. The appointment was canceled and rebooked without my knowledge or consent, which caused me to be marked as a “no-show.” I never approved the change, and no service was provided at all. When I tried to fix the situation, she responded only after a long delay and offered appointment times that I clearly could not do. When I tried to find a time that worked, she stopped responding again. I never received the service I paid for, and my refund request was ignored. I was recommended to this stylist by a supposedly seasoned stylist. I went is this shop with Faith and high hope but what I got was disappointment, shame depression.. After she gave me wrong color TWICE, She promised to redo my coloring in three days. I text her she promised to call me with a date and time to come ack. I never hear back from her. Sad since she claims to be a pastor. I made no other attempt to contact her because 1. I let my Lord and Savior fight my battles 2. I would not trust her hands in my hair again . I even missed church because my hair looked like the color of a 🤡 hair. I am so embarrassed and stressed with the way I look.

Would give it 0 stars if i could. Don’t recommend for anyone. They had no clue how to handle my hair and did not do what i asked saying that they knew better. Wasnt even listening to what i said. They were caring at all and my cut was extremely uneven. I would rather go bald then go there again

I got a “consultation” with Theo Garfield.... it was about 2 minutes and consisted of him asking what I use on my hair. He left me under the dryer for almost 40 minutes, he did not have the proper tools to deal with my hair type. The way he detangled my natural hair was deplorable. No way he’s trained or educated anyone about hair. He was rude, rush job, the style is mediocre at best. Would not recommend and will never return.

I called this shop and spoke to the owner at 9 am ! She scheduled me for an appointment at 2pm....I asked her how long the process would take and I was told it wouuld be about 2 hours total ! I rushed to be there on time only to wait an hour for her to start. After being there for 3plus hours I finally ran out of patience and left the shop with my hair wet. I was there 3 plus hours and only received a shampoo! I came for a press and after three hours I was sitting under the hair dryer while everyone who came in after me was serviced ahead of me. I’m very upset to have wasted my Friday afternoon at this shop! Save your money for someone who cares about your time ! Next time don’t over book and don’t play with people’s time ! Very unprofessional and I will not be back !
