Worst barbershop experience I’ve ever had, hands down. Big John was completely unprofessional from the moment I sat down. I showed him a clear picture of the haircut I wanted, and what I got was nowhere close. He didn’t ask before lining me up, he didn’t ask before touching my beard or mustache, and he was so rough that my skin was literally red, irritated, and burning by the time I left. My whole head looked scratched up. To make it worse, he cut off part of my eyebrow and didn’t even bother to acknowledge it or apologize. I only realized once I got home, and it looked ridiculous. My friends immediately asked why I had scars on my head, that’s how bad it was. Then he tried to play it off by giving me a $10 discount and charging me $25, like that somehow excused the damage. It’s HOT in here! I hope the owner reads this and thinks of the customers because the a/c needs to be turned on! I’ve never seen a business not wanting to use the a/c! What type of sweat shop are you running? If it wasn’t for the top notch service I receive here, I would NEVER come back! Stop being CHEAP and turn the a/c on!!

Place looks great outside and in and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Barber did a great job, however, he did not follow my instructions - don't touch the top and use a one-clip on the sides. Instead, about 3 inches was taken off the top and now, two weeks later, the sides need to be trimmed again. The cost was $40, which is not posted where I could see it. I understand a price that high in DC or Baltimore, but this far out from a big city seems about $10 too high. Lastly, I was in my army uniform so if there was a military discount given, then the price is even higher. If there is not a military discount or if it wasn't given then shame on these guys.
