Started going to Robert a few years ago. He does a great job with my hair. Takes his time, cuts it well, and it’s always a pleasant conversation. Started taking my son to him also and he does an equally excellent cut for him. Followed him to his new spot which gives him greater control. Now his spot matches his overall service and he’s able to bring in other barbers who enhance the vibe. Highly recommend SideDoor at either location with him running things.

This is the best barber shop! Tim, the owner, does amazing work with his haircuts. I described what I wanted out of a haircut one time and he remembers to this day. Each time I come in I am greeted pleasantly. They have even learned my name. These people are extremely friendly and personable. There’s a positive culture present here. I’ve been a customer of his for over a year and have received nothing but perfect service. If you’re looking for a barbershop that you can trust, this is it.

If you're looking for the best fade in Sacramento, I can't recommend Robert enough. I've tried several of the top barbershops in the area, but Robert consistently stands out. His fades are always on point—clean, sharp, and reliable. Robert listens and works with you to achieve your ideal cut, tailoring each cut to your specific needs. Not only does he have great command of his clippers, but he does great scissor work as well! This speaks to his professional ownership of his craft and ability to cut diverse styles among his clientele. Obviously I think Robert is one of Sacramento’s best kept barbering secrets!
