Shuna's Hair Studio

Well there's not much to say anything positive that is . My daughter was going to her to get her hair relaxed and they burnt all her hair off . She kept giving her a relaxer . You see Shauna doesn't have anything in between relaxers ( touch ups) I think that's what they are called if im not mistaken. On her list of options, And even though that's what my daughter put down . Because there is not a touch up option. You women should've known better like this little girl was just here for a relaxer she needs a touch up. You so called hairdressers do not know what your doing well at least to my daughter's hair. I will never recommen no one to go there I should post pictures..

I have to admit, I was nervous at first because of past experiences. But after doing my research and getting out of my own head, I decided to take the leap, step out of my comfort zone, and book an appointment at Shuna's Hair Studio. From the moment I walked through the doors, she greeted me with a warm smile and such positive energy. The consultation was fantastic, and when I finally sat in her chair, her hands felt like butter! Being tender-headed, I’ve dealt with struggles since childhood, but she was so gentle and skilled that I didn’t even notice when she finished. When she spun the chair around to reveal the final look in the mirror, I was blown away – I absolutely loved it! I’ve finally found the perfect place to get my hair styled. Thank you, Shuna! I just got my daughter and my own hair braided up. First I will start of my saying we are both tender headed. And my daughter is prone to dry scalp. Both my daughter and I have been to other braiders in the area that don't listen and apply so much gel it suffocates your scalp. Nope not Jenna I explained our issues and concerns and she understood the whole assignment. My daughter had inspiration pictures for refernce and Jenna did that and more. She was so gentle my daughter fell asleep. There was no need to take tylenol for headaches. I am so happy with our service I am already thinking of what I want to be done in the future. I would give 100 stars if I could. Amazing atmosphere. Highly professional & skilled. Very personable & genuine. I messaged her to see if she could fit my daughter in for her birthday, she responded promptly & was able to fit us in just in time for her 16th birthday. She gave my daughter EXACTLY what she asked for, literally looked just like the picture. The amount of time, care, and careful attention to detail - hands down the best service I've ever received. I will definitely be back and will not be going to anyone else except her from now on. I just love her! She's not just amazing at what she does, I can tell that she is an amazing person too. She has a good heart & genuinely cares, which makes all the difference in the world. I'm so grateful!

I went in today ( 7/22) to get my hair box- braided. It was my first time here. What a great experience from start to finish. Shauna is very friendly, professional and pleasant. The girl who braided my hair Monet (? Spelling) is very good and fast. It took her just 45mins. Normally it has taken 1 1/2hrs. Great work!! My braids came out really nice, clean and crisp. I’m impressed and very happy. Thankyou Shauna/ Monet. I will be back! 🙂
