To be completely honest, I got the worst haircut of my life here. Let me explain. My good friend got a haircut with them last week and it turned out great for him, so he recommended I get a trim here. I explained to the stylist thoroughly that I did NOT want to cut my hair short, just a slight trim, barely touching the back of my head, and bringing the hair in the front to eye level. I even showed a picture of myself with the exact hair length and style I desired. In the end, I got an uneven, straight-up ugly hairstyle, and my specific requests were completely ignored.

Updated: The salon is still open during covid-19. Jack, the hairdresser, wears a mask and goggles. The shop is very clean and tidy. My girlfriend was a Yale alum, and Jack was her hair stylist during her time at Yale. After she graduated, we lived in San Francisco for several years. During this period, we weren't able to find a hairstylist that would suit her needs. Since we moved back to the East Coast, we kept coming back to Jack. Despite the 3+ hour drive from Philly, it was worth the effort. Jack is great at his job. He is sincere, and he gives honest feedback/advice on the best hairstyle that would suit our needs. Highly recommended!

Amazing service and even better results! I've always wanted to get deep red highlights and I'm so glad I finally decided to do it, and that I very luckily found this place (it was one of the only hair salons open in New Haven on a Sunday afternoon). They were able to do it without bleaching my hair, which I really appreciated, and it came out exactly the way I wanted. They really made my dreams come true! And they are very lovely people. Plus, it was really great value considering how much time and care they put into their service, and the really top-notch quality of their work. Will definitely be coming back here again!

They did digital perm wonderfully. I really like how my hair turned out that i had to give them a good review. The price is cheaper compared to digital perm that i did at other salons.
