I have to say I had the best experience at Shining Star! I was a walk-in and Taya did my hair. I felt very comfortable from the moment I walked in! I told her what I wanted and she did just that. She tripled checked her work and didn't make me feel like she was rushing me out of the chair. She did such an amazing job that I took my son to get a haircut and she delivered again!! Exactly what I asked her to do!! He loved his hair also. So naturally I brought her my mother in law and did exactly what she asked for! She is really great at what she does. When my mom comes to visit I will be bringing her to Taya!!

DO NOT GO HERE. ZERO STARS. I just got my hair redone for school asked for one thing and came out with COMPLETELY DIFFERENT HAIR THEN WHAT I ASKED FOR. do NOT come here to get your hair DYED because they seem to do what they want instead of pleasing their customers. never again. I am upset with the extra damage I now have to put my hair through now to fix this GREY TONED MESS

I will keep going back to this place because of an amazing job they always do with my haircut. I go to Michelle consistently, as she listens, understands the cut that I want and she can actually cut my hair correctly. She is one in VERY few who do a great job at what she does for the numerous stylists I have went to over the years and I appreciate their hospitality, prices and their overall buisness. Would recommend to ANYONE in the area to give this place a try, as you will not be dissapointed!

So I have really long, thick, dark natural hair, and Michelle has my hair amazing the dimension and the color is fantastic. It’s everything I wanted definitely come here.
