I usually don’t leave reviews on google but this time I decided to do it because I had an unpleasant experience. I went just for a removal a few weeks ago. I really wanted to like this place because I live nearby and it always looks very clean and nice but surprise surprise… 5 min after sitting down I saw a mouse running from one room to a corner where the pedi chairs are. At first I thought “no, this can’t be” but then I saw it again. I let the girl know and she just said “I called someone”. No more comments about it nor even an apology. It was very difficult for me to communicate with her since she barely speaks and understands English. I felt rushed the whole time, like she just wanted to be done. Super clean salon, that’s about it. Felt super rushed, manicure-pedicure was done in under half an hour total for both. I’ve never had a manicure done with the manicurist standing over/next to me. She just did whatever and rushed to the next chair. Didn’t even come back to check if it was dry. If the service cost $40, which it should cost based to what was done, I would’ve totally fine. I hesitated writing this because I've been coming for so long and generally have received a decent mani/pedi. Not amazing, just good. The only reason I have kept coming back is because it is clean, you can book online, and it's convenient to my home. My last experience here was my last time coming. I'm done. I have never been treated so rudely by a salon owner before, and this past visit wasn't the first time I was treated rudely. I had come in the past with friends, by myself, and always treated like I was an inconvenience. The owner here is rude. My friends who have come with me here have mentioned the same thing. She is not welcoming whatsoever. I was berated for not having cash and needing to tip on my card. This has happened several times when coming here. The most recent time, I got

Consistently high quality service here. I always do dazzle dry and it lasts me for a while. Last time it stood the test of 10 days at the beach, with not a single chip. And it’s toxin free! The technicians are all very nice, I especially enjoy Becky’s work.

I love Shine On. My manicures are always great and everyone is so friendly. The new salon itself is spacious, relaxing, clean and beautiful. Everyone from the neighborhood is glad to have it back!
